Traditional Norwegian farmhouse yeast (Kveik) from Bulken, Voss. Voss is one of the most famous Kveik regions, known for producing clean, versatile farmhouse yeasts. Like other Kveik, it tolerates high fermentation temperatures and completes fermentation quickly while producing distinctive farmhouse character.

"He got the yeast from his uncle Johannes Apeltun, who lived at Veka in Dyrvedalen, some time before 1987. He shares kveik with Dag Lunde (#65) sometimes."
