About
Released in 1965, Talisman is an American Cluster variety descended from Cluster. Peaking at 4.6% of total US hop production in 1973, the popularity of Talisman has steadily declined ever since. Currently, it is no longer grown commercially. It has fairly low alpha acids, although up to 8% AAU was recorded in the Yakima Valley.
