About
Originating from Wye College in England, Early Prolific has a pleasant continental-style aroma but is not currently produced commercially as a result of its poor growth rate and lackluster yield. It received USDA accession in 1980. Despite having little commercial impact as a brewing variety, Early Prolific may however exhibit some breeding potential on the basis of its aromatic characteristics and impressive storage stability.
