Developed at the Hop Research Center in Huell, and formerly named 2010/008/033 during trials. This hop variety, bred only six years ago, uses only German hop material from the famous Tradition variety. Callista has many meanings, but mostly it is referred to as a meaning 'most beautiful (feminine)' in Greek.
Origin
Developed at the Hop Research Centre in Huell. It is a cross between Hallertauer Tradition and a Huell male hop. It was released in 2016. The name Callista comes from Greek Mythology and means most beautiful and wonderful.
